Submissions
Interested in submitting your original work to Winnsox? We recommend that you follow our submission preparation checklist. As part of the submission process, authors should check their submission’s compliance with all of the following items:
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another publication for consideration. If so, an explanation needs to be provided for the Editors.
- The submission is a Microsoft Word .docx file, or an open source RTF document file format.
- The text is double-spaced, uses 12-point font, and employs endnotes and references as indicated in the Chicago Manual of Style.
- The submission speaks to at least one of our four subject areas: communication, ecology, education, or media.
Please allow up to two weeks for our Editors to confirm receipt of your submission. Submissions will be reviewed as they are received. Once reviewed, an Editor will notify you of our interest in your submission. After being approved for publication, the submission will be copy-edited, and formatted for publication on our website.
